We have a responsibility to each other to tell the truth, because we can’t rely on corporations or governments to do it for us.

We all make mistakes, I do too but it’s on us to correct them, own when we’re wrong, and then share what we actually know to be true.

After breaking a story this week on Neuralink and the new Morgan Stanley report warning that BCIs could create a future “Neuro Elite,” deepen inequality, and blur the line between human and machine — I’m honestly disheartened.

Two major mainstream outlets chose not to cover any of the critical ethical or societal risks surrounding brain-computer interfaces. Instead, they focused on the spin — how many people are on the waitlist for “The Link.”

No mention of the MIND Act, now being discussed in Congress by Senator Chuck Schumer, or the serious concerns around how BCIs could one day influence emotions and behavior.

Art has always been a part of my life since I was a child—and it still is today. Art is life. Everything we choose to do in this world is art. It’s self-expression in all its forms.
I’ve told so many friends that when I retire (or maybe even sooner) I’ll open an art studio, either in the country or the city, where friends and community members can come every day to create any kind of art together. The studio will be a stand-alone space where I can wake up each morning and dive into whatever my heart feels—painting, dancing, woodworking, music, podcasting, film, theatre—you name it. The only rule? If someone walks in and wants to collaborate, the answer is always yes.

Imagine a place where you show up not knowing what kind of art you’ll make, but you leave having created something entirely new with the people around you. That’s what art is: community and expression. And as I grow older, I want to surround myself with those people, the ones who create, and who want to create together.

This weekend in NYC, I had the honor of touring with my good friend Gregory Alan Thornbury @gthornbury , Executive Director & Dean of @silverartprojects at the World Trade Center. Over 30 artists work in this space every day, and I was floored by the sheer talent and diversity of ages. From artists who once worked with Andy Warhol to some of the brightest rising talent making their mark today.

Gregory, you’re an absolute gem. The talent you’re inspiring and cultivating will leave a lasting impact on so many. Thank you for being such a wonderful human, one who cares so deeply not just for art, but for humanity itself.

Over here, totally romanticizing my trip to @yerkesobservatory in Wisconsin this past summer. A new UAP video unveiled at a Congressional hearing today shows an MQ-9 Reaper drone launching an AGM-114 Hellfire missile—capable of reaching Mach 1.3, or roughly 1,000 mph (1,600 km/h)—at an unidentified object. The missile strikes the object, yet it continues on its trajectory, appearing to leave a trail of debris behind.

Congressman Eric Burlison shared the footage, which was recorded on October 30, 2024, off the coast of Yemen.
